Of all the Windows operating systems Windows 7 will be known as one of, if not the best.
It is clean, fast, stable and a breeze to manage for IT administrators.
Sadly though all good things must come to an end and the end is fast approaching for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 & 2008 R2.
As of January 14 2020 Microsoft will not provide security updates or support for Win 7/Server 2008/Server 2008 R2.

So what impact does this have for your business? Well quite a lot to be frank, this means that if you are still running Windows 7 or Server 2K8 or 2K8R2 in your organisation you could be exposing your network to security vulnerabilities, putting you at an increased risk of cyber-attacks and having your computers and data compromised.

The good news is you still have time to upgrade to the latest versions of Windows aka Windows 10. This will ensure you receive security patches from Microsoft – helping to minimise potential risks.

Runtime Consulting can help upgrade your computers and servers to the latest versions of Windows with minimal downtime and ensure all your software still functions correctly. Giving you peace of mind to focus on your business.
