PaperCut NG/MF vulnerability -- Get patching.
If you work in a larger corporate environment, government entity, university, or a school you will no doubt of used PaperCut’s print solutions.
PaperCut provides incredibly flexible user-friendly print management solutions for things such as cost tracking, cloud printing, and multi-platform printing. It’s arguably the best print management software and is widely used around the world. Sadly, this means that it is also a target for potential nasties.
PaperCut has published a critical advisory stating that unpatched PaperCut servers are being exploited.
What impact does this have for your organisation?
These exploits could lead to information about your users being stolen – information such as username, full name, email address, department information and hashed passwords for internal PaperCut created accounts.

Advice from PaperCut is that if you maintain PaperCut NG or MF servers in your environment, then you should patch these immediately.
